PROJECTS 2024-2029
Digital technologies and family (property) law
Digital technologies are increasingly integrated into the practice of family law, both in and out of court. This development will be critically examined theoretically and empirically, with a focus on the digitisation of divorce law (negotiation tools, alimony calculation tools, asset division platforms, co-parenting apps, and online divorce services). Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team of lawyers, engineers, IT specialists and developers will enable the creation of a theoretical, regulatory and practical framework, tailored for application in European civil law jurisdictions.
