Various support structures for the child are present in (the practice of) family and juvenile law. Only limited scientific research is available on this topic today. Through comparative legal and empirical research, existing support structures will be mapped, analyzed and evaluated in order to formulate recommendations to improve the regulatory framework and its implementation.
