From 28-30 May 2026, the Odisee Centre for Family Studies and the International Commission on Couple and Family Relations (ICCFR) organise a conference on “Bridging Cultures, Building Families: Exploring the Dynamics of Multicultural Families“.
Families today are more diverse than ever before. Families tomorrow will be even more diverse. This international multidisciplinary conference invites researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to explore the evolving realities of bi and multicultural couples and families in a globalised world. While culturally diverse families share similar needs with other families, they often face additional unique challenges, of which some might arise within the family and others result from external factors, such as a lack of diversity-sensitive services.
